Our molybdenum ion source grids are recommended for ion beam milling and deposition applications where inert and reactive process gases may be used. These molybdenum grids are reasonably robust and thermally stable, and they can be precisely contoured to produce different beam profiles.
Sizes range from 1cm up to 30cm.
All sizes of molybdenum grids that we can make for vacuum coating are as follows:
1 Grid sets for Vecco 16cm (single focal point) ion sources;
2 Grid sets for Optorun 17cm ion sources;
3 Grid sets for Shincron 12cm ion sources;
4 Grid sets for Kaufman 12cm ion sources.
Customized sizes are available.
